Running on hunger

A better start to the year! Today I started the 5:2 fast diet. So far it’s nearly 3pm and I haven’t eaten anything since a small bowl of porridge at 7:30am. I’m absolutely starving. One of the things I did to take my mind off food was go for a run at lunch time. I did a 25min 3K run, nothing remarkable, except, I have finally found something that took my mind off the pain of running….. the greater pain of food deprivation!

Not sure if this is a good or a bad thing. I’ll keep myself posted.
